Documenting my work

I was finally forced to document several years worth of work, and am working on a new website to represent myself and my art. It was an almost ideal shoot, we were provided with access to UNM's copy stand and lighting. The experience was painless and the product is invaluable. I have never been able to peruse my works so easily. Having them in a digital format makes it easy for me to see similarities form groups and understand my creative influences and motivations more completely. The photos are being refined and will be available for online viewing soon.

Portfolio

Portfolio:
A course I am taking in the fall will force me to build a digital portfolio and I will share it here for you all to review and critique. Placing My work online will help me preform much needed self critique when preparing to place it in the public eye.

Printmaking

Hello,
My name is Alan Takach, I am a printmaker and a printing press manufacturer. I will complete my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of New Mexico in December of 2007. Art studio is the primary focus of my studies. I have completed courses in Lithography, Intaglio, Serigraphy, and Photo. On-line representation of my graphic work leaves much to be desired, I am enrolled in a class that centers around creating a digital portfolio. My art is inspired by daily activity, recently by the exposure to new techniques and the desire to fill the blank walls of my home.
